1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QuitBite website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use QuitBite.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use QuitBite. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Services only with supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete account information.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our negligence.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the Services.
  • Bypass security controls, usage limits, or account restrictions.
  • Use bots or automated means to access the Services in unauthorized ways.
  • Upload malicious code or content that infringes another party’s rights.

5. AI Coach and Informational Disclaimers

QuitBite may provide AI-generated suggestions to support spending and habit change. These suggestions are for informational purposes only and are not medical, psychiatric, nutritional, legal, or financial advice.

You should use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for advice tailored to your circumstances.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms will be shown at purchase. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.

Refunds, if offered, are handled according to applicable law and the billing platform terms (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play policies where applicable).

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, content, design, trademarks, and branding, are owned by QuitBite or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, create legal risk, or misuse the platform. You may stop using the Services at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuitBite and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or savings arising from your use of the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuitBite and its officers, employees, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where QuitBite is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services. Continued use after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance.
